Alice Rothchild is a retired obstetrician/gynecologist, author, filmmaker, and activist for justice in Palestine. Part 1 of my interview with her covers the absence of Palestine in children’s literature, and her journey from a “typical” liberal Jewish American to a Palestine solidarity activist, and enters the mine-laden territory of Zionism and antisemitism.
