A bitterly cold night,
A night of music and poetry,
A night of many struggles coalescing into one,
A night where over 80 people crowded a tiny bistro in DC to support Palestine.

It felt humbling to read four of my poems alongside the outstanding performers who participated in last night’s Turathna event. My deepest gratitude to the organizers from PSL and the Palestine Youth Movement for putting together such an excellent program. I counted six languages on stage and some twenty countries mentioned or represented. Thank you!

Thank you to all the performers, and to Bossa Bistro & Lounge for hosting us.

I was pleased to see several of you in the audience. Thank you for coming to support Palestine, and apologies if you had to stand or crowd at the door.
