Thank you, Deb. As I chart in Fugitive Dreams, when I was young, I was full of hope for a better world — hope that evaporated with the collapse of the “peace process” and the Wall coming up. The cycnicsm was justified by what I experienced up till then, and by what has happened since.

Nevertheless, now that I am a parent with grave concerns for the future my daughter will inherit, I cannot accept that cynicism. I have to resist even my own cynicism.
