Thank you Chris for elaborating. I know “barbarians” comes from the Romans so there’s no British monopoly on labeling. In the military, anger is only permitted downward, in support of the hierarchy, as it also in corporate structures. It’s as if there’s an unwritten “right to anger” that defines power dynamics and enforces conformity.
