Thank you Antoun for this endorsement. I’m glad you enjoyed the story. I’ve become convinced that one cannot understand Palestine without understanding the Nakba. The severed connections and stolen memories are greater losses than the value of the land itself as a commodity. I hope the symbolism comes across as intended.
