As I have just remarked in my response to Gail, “The voices they silence are the ones they fear.” Twenty, thirty years ago American students could protest, set up encampments, say Palestine, River to Sea, and watch the PLO ambassador regularly on CNN. The armed police they send to silence us is not only a reflection of Israeli / Zionist fears. There are greater forces at play in America, namely the takeover by banks and a few large corporations of almost the entire wealth of world. The almost entirely unregulated tech industry can censor or amplify any message they want. The unregulated Amazon made windfall profits from delivery during the pandemic, at the expense of millions of small businesses that folded. Those bastards will go to any lengths to maintain their power, and Palestinians happen to be the ones in the way of real estate developers and oil corporations, refusing to surrender or leave our ancestral lands, refusing to yield despite enormous amounts of pressure.
