Israel’s UNRWA Ban Threatens the West Bank

Yesterday, Israel’s Knesset passed a law banning the UN relief agency UNRWA, and another declaring it a terrorist organization. Many have since written about the dire consequences of this move on the bombed-out population of Gaza. I fear that this is Israel’s long-anticipated move on the West Bank. I have raised the alarm regarding the West Bank over a year ago:

Since then, Israeli settlers have intensified their raids. The stolenments aggressively expanded, and Israel evicted more Palestinian villages in the southern West Bank. Israel continued its policy of raiding towns and refugee camps in the northern West Bank, stepping up the militarization of its raids. Tulkarm was repeatedly bombed from the air. Jenin was invaded and sealed for over a week while Israeli machinery systematically destroyed its roads and infrastructure.
