I was trying to estimate the reparations required based on the reparations charged to Iraq for the 6-month invasion of Kuwait in 1990. Last February - 2023 - was when Iraq finally finished paying the trillions of dollars assessed for such a short invasion. Doing the math to adjust for areas and for the 75-year occupation of Palestine, the 56-year occupation of the West Bank and Gaza, and the dispossession and the refugees' in exile, the final bill would have been astounding even before the present genocide and destruction of Gaza. As for the latter, I don't know if any amount of monetary reparation can compensate the lifelong psychological damage for each of those children surviving the genocide.
