Time to unpack the figurative laundry basket left suspended since Oct. 7

Since the morning of Oct. 7, especially as I was in Palestine at the time, I placed many aspects of my life on hold, or on autopilot. For 16 months, the only thing that mattered was to write, write, and write about Gaza. When I was banned from LinkedIn, I moved my writing to Medium, then returned there seven months later. Throughout this time, I retained a laundry basket with miscellaneous items I had emptied from my suitcases upon returning from Palestine that October. That laundry basket became the symbol for everything I had suspended, even my grief.

🧺 It is time to unpack the figurative laundry basket and also to finish several creative projects. Therefore, I will be disengaging from social media for an indefinite number of weeks. Though I may post from time to time, I will not be as accessible.
