Good to see you back on here, Kayla. I hope it is clear that my critique is mainly aimed at the media version of the LA fires. The sad reality is that people suffer when their government has the wrong priorities.
Remember the failed Gaza "pier" that Biden announced to win a few more votes on Super Tuesday, rather than telling Israel to stop killing? That's $320 million of our tax money sunken into the sea. LA burned for a shortage of $15 million. The money on that pier alone would have upgraded the hydrants in all the major US cities. Now add up all the billions sent to Israel and Ukraine. With all this money spent on war, it is a wonder LA hasn't burned sooner.
