De-funding UNRWA and the attacks on food convoys is the last straw. It was clear for a while that this was where we were headed. The early attacks on hospitals and clean water supplies was an attempt to foment widespread diseases. You may be interested in my take:

This is not new to America, with their having killed the majority of the indigenous population by inducing famine and disease (burning crops, killing the buffalo, distributing smallpox-infected blankets, ...)
