The children orphaned of a country in 1948¹ became the freedom fighters of the 1960s and 1970s. Their loss and desperation tore airplanes from the sky. What of today’s children in Gaza–the world’s unwanted children, sentenced to death by the leaders of “the free world [sic]”? What stake has the world given them in its miserable existence?
